Pulukier Uose
Existing only on Aphelia’s northernmost continent of Aluzoria there is a mystical tree-like plant called the Pulukier Uose. The Pulukier Uose, (Pulu tree) looks much like an ordinary tree at first glance, except for its spurting growth periods from the fall to winter season when it’s bark will have almost appear to have a white glow. The Pulu tree’s branches are bare during the summer months, but by autumn small white leaves and pale blue buds begin to grow. Buds blossom and begin producing fruit called Pulu and is shaped like a tetrahedron, or a three-dimensional triangle. During the winter, as the fruits grow heavier, they start to show an unexpected liveliness. However, not many make it to this stage and remain on the tree until they are picked later in the year and used in native Aluzorian dishes. With winter’s end, the lively Pulu fall off their branches and sink into the snow where they tend to stay until spring. Some are rescued and taken in as pets, while others make the remarkable journey across Aluzoria to later seed themselves into a new Pulukier Uose.
